  • Avid Media Composer 3 cannot support AVCHD and DNxHD?

I know my Avid MC 3 is too old to edit the AVCHD MTS files directly. So I found a video converter program called Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter to help convert my MTS files to the Avid DNxHD (*.mov) format and then imported into MC for editing. • Re: MTS files with MC 3.0

Thank you! So, just to be clear, are you saying that even if I spend the money to upgrade to 5.5 I'll still have issues and need ClipWrap? Would your advice be to stick with 3.0, buy ClipWrap, and be done with it? Thanks in advance again!
