Please,are there plans to tightly integrate 3rd party R&A services within Avid MC the way Adobe and FCP have done with Wipster io and Frame io ? Or if not does Avid have something similar? I'm a long time user of Avid MC and prefer to stay with it, but it's these little jump aheads the competition...

I've just had the same problem. Someone using FCP exported this file. MediaInfo says it's a HDV 1080i file. QT wouldn't play it - black screen but audio played. VLC did play it but it was a bit of a struggle. Sorenson Squeeze 9 also produced a white screen and would crash every time I tried...
