We work with FS7 footage. On all other Z420 workstations we are able to AMA link to the Fs7 footage and then transcode it to DNxHD 145 to be able to edit in real time. On our Z840 that we just got with Avid 8.3.1, the timeline drops frames and taxes the processor - unable to play a clip in real time...
