I am bringing MXF OP1a files into Avid, rendered from Resolve, and they are only playing the first few frames of audio. The files are MXF OP1a DNxHR LB 720p. The only audio codec available in a Resolve export is Linear PCM. Looking at the timeline, I can see the waveforms for all files showing the audio...

Hi all, I am looking to develop against the SDK for dnxHR 12 bit HQX .mxf files. In the end, I want to turn the .mxf files into 12 bit DPX files. The problem (I think) is that I am using a non-standard resolution size. Namely, the 4k resolution is a 16:9 size, 4096x2304. And, I want to make DPX frames...

MC 8.9.1 OS X EL Cap 3.3 GHz intel core 5i 8gb 1816 MHz DDR3 I have seen lots of posts about Pipe stall, but non-pertaining to my issue. I have 5d footage that is AMA linked, and now through consolidate/transcode I am trying to transcode to DNxHR LB. My smaller clips, like under a minute, will transcode...

I read somewhere that DNxHR is backwards compatible with DNxHD.
Does that mean that essentially DNxHR is the same codec as DNxHD, just allowing for the larger frame sizes and different frame rates?

I'm working on Mac 10.10.5, Avid 8.6 and I'm working on a project that uses 2048 x 1152 footage so the project is set to that. Our archival footage ranges from 480 - 1080. When I transcode the archival footage, the codec options are all DNxHR codecs when keeping source dimensions and source frame...
