indeed, I am grateful for the replies...reading the workflows presented and STILL not getting it...must be from the "show me" state of Missouri...smh Some workflows involve uprezzing each clip to HD before editing, some suggest editing in SD then exporting a QT reference then importing that...

from the BCC 8 release notes: "BCC Optical Stabilizer will sometimes generate jitter artifacts in interlaced projects." I would call what I see "serious hiccups" rather than "jitter artifacts" , making it useless in many cases for me. Does anyone know how to workaround this...
