Every time I try to open Avid Media Composer First I get a message, that I have no license. How can I fix this issue?

I can't link or import my .mov video files. Simply nothing happens when I try to. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. I'm running Media Composer First Version: 2022.10.0.56239.0 on a MacBook Pro M1, 2020 with OS Ventura 13.0.1.
