I have a film scheduled to debut at a single cinema in October. They said they use Sony projectors and need a DCP file. Can I produce this with Avid MC5? I edited the movie in MC5 and had transcoded all the clips to DNX 175X 1080P before editing. I'm hoping I can export the movie to do this. Thanks.

My import box does not give the same options as you have (I'm using MC5) . The options are: -Sample rate convert source sample rate to project sample rate. -Do not convert sources with pullup and down rates Speed and duration will change from source. -Convert source sample bit depth to project sample bit depth. -Apply attenuation/gain effect on

Maybe I imported it into MC5 wrong, because the file I imported was a WAV that was stereo. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm editing my film using MC5 and have two questions regarding audio. 1) I have put all my sound effects and dialogue on mono tracks. Is this right or should I have put them on stereo tracks? 2) I'm trying to put a WAV file of music on a stereo track but it won't take it. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

I filmed with a panasonic GH1 in 1920X1080P and exported a frame out of Avid MC5 as a graphic tiff. When I edit in my photo program, the image only comes out as 4 inches in size. I don't want to streatch it, as this will cause a loss of resolution. Is there a way to export and edit so the image comes out larger, so I get full resolution when making

I checked permissions and found that I did not have full access. I have corrected that but when I get back into Avid and play a segment, it still freezes at specific points and an error message comes up with a yellow triangle with an ! in it, and the message reads; Exception Disk_Access_Denied

I'm using windows 7 professional.
