I'm using Avid MC5 to export out a quicktime file and using h264 as the codec at 13000 kbits.

I'm exporting out of Avid MC5, as a quicktime file with H264 as the codec. and 13000 Kbits. Looks great but the banding around the colors totally wrecks the film

I have a film I'm trying to put on VHX but it calls for a maximum bit rate of 13000. I'm using a quick time file with the DNxHD codec , because H264 causes color banding when I use it. The DNXHD works but does not let me adjust bit rate. Does anyone know how to do this?

I edited my film on MC5 and then authored a DVD on Avid DVD by Sonic. All works great, but I have four buttons and am only able to toggle to two of them. This is the second time this has happened. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you

Will DNxHD175X work or is it too big for streaming. I usually export out at this setting and it comes out clear but its a large file, then I use Handbrake to knock it down and it still looks good. I just don't know whether this will work for streaming. I'm going through HVX for my streaming provider.

I'm trying to export my film for VOD streaming on VHX. They gave me their Remmended specs, which are: H264, 13000 bit rate . I tried that but when the video plays you can see some type of pixilating in the background, like when there is a fade in or if there is a dim background. Ex. Creatspace wants Video and Audio TS in the root directory of the file I send to them. The problem is that when I check the dvd (by right clicking, then choosing "explore") the only file that comes up is Video TS. I can't find the Audio TS file. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using Avid MC5 and when I choose dvd authoring, it sends me to Avid DVD by Sonic. I composed a file and am able to burn it to DVD, but I want to output it as a single ISO file. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks

I have edited my film using MC5 and want to output for display in a cinema that has a Sony SRX-R320 projector. Besides DCP are there any other formats that the projector will accept? like, quicktime.mov or even blu-ray?
