I'm running again. The problem was not the Windows update but some corrupted MediaFiles. After rebuilding the databases it worked again. So it was a coincidence.

Hello, I am running MediaComposer 2021-5 on a HP Z840 Workstation with Intel Xeon 2667 and 128 GB Memory. Today after an automated Windows Update to 20H1, I couldn't operate my AVID any longer. It gets "Out of Memory" when I open it. Windows Indexing is switched to manual. Any thoughts? Thank you

Well - it is not fixed. I got the error after mapping "Add Edit" to F8 and then just audio mixing two music tracks. Before adding the "Add Edit" it worked. This is annoying.

Hello, same problem here again. Moving Clip from V2 to V1 - crash. It was an internally created BCC Pan&Zoom with a photograph, so no different framerates. I did the Settings deletion thing and deleted the cache (there were about 40 images in the folder). The error has gone (for now) and on top there is an increase in overall performance.

Hello, I am having troubles with the effects mode after my update. I am tracking paint effects for witness protection and when i want to zoom in, nothing happens. Also I cannot move through keyframes, it will always move the object itself. This is quite annoying. Anyone with the same problems? I am running 64bit Windows 7 on a Z420.

Ultimately, the direct approach I would recommend would be to first UpRez the SD clips one by one, but add a few seconds to these clips (for reasons I will go over in a moment). Then, render those clips out, as self-contained HD files - this way, you can import them into Avid and they will be raw
