I'm going to purchase media composer 8.0 and upgrade from 3.0. I do not have a machine that meets the specs for Media Composer 8.0 but will buy one in the next 6 months. Will I have to have Media Composer 3.0 installed on my new computer to upgrade to Media Composer 8.0 or can I install media composer 8.0 without having 3.0 installed?

Hi, I got the Mojo but I'm trying to figure out how to convert the HD project to SD so Ican see it on the NTSC monitor.

What i'm really asking if Media Composer 8.0 handles the P2 Files Natively. I have Media Composer 3.0 and when I import the P2 clips to the bin I have to transcode them to an Avid DNX Codec or they appear offline when I close the project and open it back up. I'm trying to alleviate the process of transcoding the footage which is time consuming

Does Media Composer 8.0 handle DVC Pro HD Footage with out transcoding it the Avid DNA Format?

When Downconverting HD out of the MOJO SDI BOB, does it give you the option to letterbox or keep the image 16X9?

Does Media Compose 8 allow export setiings for H.24 files, or do one have to use another program to do this?

I can not relink my P2 Footage in Media Composer 3.0. Any help appreciated.
