I just installed a new raid drive. When I started MC, MC told me that my software was unregistered (it is registered ... or so I thought ... at least it USED to be registered!). Is this normal? Does everything need to be re-installed? Life is too short for that. Copy protection: OK for manufacturer; BAD for consumer.

Has anyone had a problem importing Canopus HQ 1920 x 1080 into MC 3.5?

JWRL is correct, of course, to say that if it works there is no point in a workaround ... the issue, though, is when it doesn't work.

In my very limited experience I found Avid's capture tool to be frustrating (I'm using MC 3.5). HDVSplit worked like a charm though. Give it a shot.
