Just a follow up. I was looking at the system requirements for MC6 and was suprised to see that my Dell T3400 while still certified has a new annotation saying HD Capture not supported!?! Huh? Just to share with those suffering nervous breakdowns from trying to digitize HDV footage from a Sony HVR-M15, M25 or M35 or similar deck into Media Composer. Don't even waste your time trying. Mojo, Aja, Matrox, they can't help you here. Video overruns, file size limits, dropped frames, etc. These problems have nothing to do with drive speed

I'm using a Prosonus Audiobox USB Audio Interface on my workstation with ProTools and an Axiom Keyboard. Works Great! But not with Media Composer 5.No output from composer. Does any kind of quality USB interface work with the Avid video products? If so is there a configuration menu that can be used to select the USB device? Thanks Again

Just an update on this subject. I still use MOJO to capture DV MXF files and will occasionally encounter this error. Easiest fix for me is to exit Composer (Even if you have to crash out), reboot system, goto media files folder (in this case Avid_Raid_1 (E:) Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1) Delete both database files AND delete the most recent 1 or 2 media files
