Since, 8.6.2 installed and launched on my system, and was working without serious problems, I decided to keep it. I began to notice some very strange behavior with background services. The little yellow triangle is simply telling you that there has been an error warning written to the BGR log file. You can clear it by reading the warning. As I recall, my memory fails me, I think the way to read it is by opening the MC Console.

Yes, I've set an RGB 709 color space in a new project (altho', it seems a bit of a non-sequitor, RGB-709, i.e. does that imply RGB levels or 709 levels??).Then AMA link to the input source footage, which is DNxHR444. OK

Thanx, Dom. The only true RGB workflow that i know works is to stick with Avid 1:1 10 bit RGB.

I asked this question a while back, but, never got a clear answer. Now that there is more experience with DNxHR 444, maybe someone can answer the question. To my understanding a 444 color space implies the color format is RGB. But, when I bring a DNxHR 444 clip into MC, the clip properties show YCbCr. So, now I'm confused, because YCbCr implies

Crashing on the first attempt at startup, after bootup, continues. Second attempt at startup works, then continues to work until the next bootup, then first startup crashes, again. I uninstalled MC862, then reinstalled. Problem not fixed...:( It fails in a routine called BEX64.

The only plugin I have is BCC10. I am now in the position of needing to attempt 2-3 tries, each time, to get 8.6.2 to finally start correctly. I tried an "Update User Profile"; and, things seem better....??
