Thanks Rob - any input is valuable! Reset the basic workspace to default per project then, every new project? Then I have to re set my audio/colour correct/effect workspace per project and its bin/container layout? But then these carry over the bin/tab/container layout across ALL projects as they are edit/colour/effect WORKSPACES not historically at

I open a different small project today and i get yesterdays big multicam project look complete with its renamed empty containers and a floating bin of todays project's tabbed bin between yesterdays empty panels. Why do I have a look from an irrelevant different project in my basic project opening screen? I found I was having to save yesterdays project
How many fonts to you have? When classic Title Tool opens it scans your system font folder. If you have 1000s of fonts it takes an eternity to open.
This is interesting! I built my new system and loaded about 3000 fonts from a folder i'd been stashing fonts in for years... Far more than I have ever had loaded

I'm on Win 11 too... I slogged hard to learn the unpleasant Marquee and do character animations and naturally quite like having the app live in the timeline rather than round tripping via Photoshop (and remembering to save as PNG or you dont get the drop shadows!) Wonder how I can flag this up to Avid - its pretty unworkable. I tried Titler+ once

Same for Marquee. Any ideas why anyone? Considered if it was anti virus analysing the app before every boot but doesnt seem to be the case and every other app outisde Avid boots up super quick. Im trialing the latest version before any dongle crossgrade and of course thios is a dealbrealer but dont have Avid support credentials to get help during a

Thank you mate - I am going to have to digest and try that. Frankly I think it all a bit abusrd as I havent tine for this 're-learn from scratch' nonsense - 4 programmes to finalise online and deliver and all sorts of other bits and bobs to change and finish. And I cant even see my bins tidy and am posting on a forum about it. And teh effect

Does this workspace carry over affect the basic bin layout rather than just err WORKSPACE? I'm finding that different projects are carrying over project specific bin/container layouts as they are seemingly saved with 'all projects' workspace? It seems nonsensical? I closed todays big project down and opened another just to squirt out a MOV

Still not getting my head around the new bin system. I conclude I'm thick after monbths of trying to like it but i truly hate it despite much effort. Once i get a nice layout of a couple of docked containers of nice tabbed bins for a project it all seem to go haywire when I swop between workspaces or other projects. I dont want the same bin layout

Great thread for this PITA - I'd far rather people turned their phones 90 degrees and then the video still works on all platforms!! I dont sense any quality loss with going tall and narrow 9:16 is the aspect but it retains its full 1080 in height Pat. Just loses the sides?

Agree - you want ONE group. Map a 9 way split button to your source monitor and switch to multicam mode.
