Marianna, I have ordered Media Composer 6.5 from the India reseller; but have not received the consignment(It is in the courier). I may not receive it within the protect deadline. Should I pm you the details to get the upgrade activation codes for MC 7?

I think you have provided more answer then you have poseed question. As you have experimented wiith the order of installing the respective drivers, all I can suggest is that you can try disabling/enabling the driver in the device manager. I dont think you will be able to monitor Resolve timeline except for a Blackmagic design Card.

Edit Carl has beaten me to it in a most succint way. But here are a few more point. You can start by right clicking your sequence and choose Consolidate/Transcode. This will Consolidate(Copy) all reference clip to the destination drive. In the consolidate dialogue box if you do not choose delete original files when done you will have two sets of media

If you have already transcoded the clips, select to highlight them; then right click on your timeline in the bin to choose "Relink". In the Relink dialogue Box choose "selected items in all open bins. And by the way this is no silly question, it ia a pro question, only a first time question. Happy relinking.
