AFAIK 7MC 7 deals with prores natively, so you can consolidate and transcode prores in MC 7. I think that might be of help. You can try experimenting in MC 7.

What is your QT version? I have been able to link to Alexa prores footage but the playback is jerky.

Sony XDCAM AMA Plugins does not recognize MC 7.

I am having serious issues with AMA linked files in MC 7, the files(Qt warped h264 and DNxHD 175) stutters and plays back jerkyly. red dotted lines apper in the timeline, whereas the same files plays back smoothly in MC 6.0 and 6.5.2. Any one having issues with AMA linked files ?
