As in shared project files? It's actually external as we are on the Isis unity server, which is where our footage is stored as well. I did use a stand alone system a while back and noticed the same thing.

We just upgraded to MC on Adreniline. The problem: When cueing up footage or sequence on the timeline there is a lag from when you hit pause and when the footage actually stops. This makes editing very frustrating and inaccurate. This is consistent with every new MC on Adreniline I have tried. Any ideas?

Hi; I'm exporting a sequence with Metasync data (chapters) to DVDit. After I've imported my movie in DVDit and then try to import the Metasync file I get this error message: 'This XML file is incorrectly formatted or contains illegal characters. It cannot be used'. Any ideas?

That's correct, nothing else connected to slot 4. Could it be ram, as we are operating at 2 gig.

Hi Baklap; for Q1, The firewire card is Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant (I looked in system properties/ device manager/ IEEE 394 Bus host controllers. for Q2, Yes. It turns out the database files were corrupt. Thanks for the help

Also, the media tool does not recognize any files on my 2 drives.
