I believe if you use the Console command dumpmaxpeaks and play the timeline, it will report the dB of the highest peak. If you're looking for the max peak on a single audio clip, just solo it before playing.

Here's a thought for working with multiple editors and cloned media: Obviously, both editors need the same media. Set up a Dropbox account and create a folder for each editor. Now, when an editor finishes with a Bin that they want to share, have them upload the .avb to their specified Dropbox folder. You can then manually copy the editor's

I hardly use Pan & Zoom at all anymore. I have found it much more manageable to apply a 3D Warp effect for the rough cut and then use After Effects to create the movements for the final delivery. I no longer have to worry about memory issues with large files or losing the photo asset link if it gets moved, etc.

If you need subsample editing capability, I'd suggest a 3rd party app. Adobe Audition might work or Audacity.
