Can´t you export DnxHD/DnxHDr with alpha out of AE and then import that into Avid via fast import? That´s how I do it on 2018.3. Andre.

Nablet should work. Is the folder structure of the card intact? You need to AMA the lowest folder level of the card. Are you able to test other, more recent xdcam footage from a FS7 or FS5? You can also try to contact nablet. Pretty good support. Also there are legacy AMA plugins on the sony website. Maybe also worth a try. Also try to deinstall media

Have you tried the ones from nablet? They usualy have the sony AMA plugins. The xdcam one is free. Other than that try sony catalyst browse to encode to prores. Good luck. Andre.

I had a pretty good remote session with Avid support on this case. It turns out, that the new blue express 7 needs OSX10.12 to run. As I am on a still qualified Avid system on OSX 10.11.6 I am on an editing system without a titling option and that feels pretty bad to me. I just can´t update to OSX 10.12, because I am still in need of Adobe CS6

Out of nowhere my titler pro shows a red cross. New blue app manager says it can not activate it via avid servers (Unable to activate because of failure to communicate with AvidELF) @Marianna can you help? update: Tried to sign out and sign in in the nw blue app. Doesn´t help. Uninstalled all new blue apps and checked my avid downloads. Can´t

I only have mc 8.3. Since 8.4 exporting with alpha via DNXHR should be possible. Use quicktime and the choose the appropriate codec...
-
Ok, then render the animation, export that incl. alpha via QUICKTIME DNxHR (or try video mixdown), then reimport and track that video? good luck. Andre.
-
Import the text as a png and track that?
-
Sure, thanks for your help. Andre.
