Officially Geforce is not supported for MC but I can get more card for my buck if I go with that instead of a comparably priced quadro. Yes. The infrastructure for the in-wall cabling is single mode I connect via mult-mode cable to the mac HBA (LSI logic). I'm running multi-mode cabling directly from the wall to the SFP of the LSI HBA (wow. Thta's a mouthful).

I'm connecting two edit bays to a SAN. The computers and san have multi mode in but the IT dept of the institution ran single mode fiber to connect the SAN and computers. I'm thinking about getting my ACSR certification but it looks like the only places to get the training are in mass. and LA. Is that correct? Do you really have to fly to those locations every year to get recertified? I'm in the Bay Area so if anyone knows something I don't I'd appreciate it.
