  • Re: Variable slow motion audio with ProTools LE?

In Avid you might try under the tools menu, Audiosuite's Time Shift effect in Varispeed mode. It's probably not ideal but would probably get you close to what you want. Perhaps multiple audio clips at different speeds to get it to ramp down.

  • Re: Sorenson Squeeze quirk

Yahoo, Sorenson Media responded quickly and this was the answer: "For this you need to delete your local Squeeze Plist file. You need to close Squeeze then go to Users\YourUserName\library\preferences then locate a file called com.sorenson...eeze.plist. Delete this file. Then run Squeeze again. The location of the monitors should be refreshed and you

  • Sorenson Squeeze quirk

I'm trying to compress a file out of AXP 5.7.5 I'm using Sorenson squeeze 4.5.7 on my macbook pro (OS 10.4.10) . I'm on the road for a bit with my laptop. Anyhow the laptop is disconnected from the 2nd monitor I normally have attached. When I open Squeeze I can see the app but when I want to change a setting I can't see the settings window. I think

  • Re: Bluetooth headset as temp VO microphone

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion regarding the MacBook internal mic. I would use that method but the only issue is I sound like I'm in an echo chamber because of the dynamics in my office/"edit suite". While I don't need pro sound, I don't want it to be noticeably bad either. : ) Thanks also for the suggestion regarding your mic.

  • Re: Bluetooth headset as temp VO microphone

Thanks for the response. At the office I always had a mini mix board and a radioshack mic but I'm now cutting with my own rig and so trying to minimize the endless amounts of tech gear & wires. Anyhow, I went out and bought a Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-208 (only nerds who like to bang their head against the wall should read on). It paired and worked

  • Bluetooth headset as temp VO microphone

Has anyone tried using a bluetooth headset as a microphone on their Xpress Pro system? I need to put in temp VO from time to time. I'm planning to buy a bluetooth headset for Skype & my Nokia 6086 mobile phone. I'd love to avoid buying an additional microphone for VO. What's your experience? Any suggestions on bluetooth headset model? I'd like to
