Also, I think the answer to my question is record audio at 29.97 because that's the frame rate that we'll sync the clips. Just wondering if there will be any surprises along the way if others have worked in a similar scenario.

For the online we will then up-rez to and the show will broadcast in 1080i/59.94. We will be bringing the audio in seperately and the AE will sync it to our video.
