Great, however, Avid doesn't see my Matrox MXO2 either. Am I doing something wrong? I wish they would have said that first about the Analog Mojo.
If you installed the Matrox driver (6.0) before MC6, then uninstall it, reboot and reinstall it. MC6 will not see the Matrox if it's installed first.

Just say it's a new tape and it'll change to drop or non-drop as req'd.

Try disconnecting MX02 (with computer off) and connect HD700 via firewire, then launch MC and see if you can capture. May have to tweak your settings in deck config etc. I can do this on the machine I have that does NOT have MX02 driver installed (I also have the HD700) - but have not tried on my MX02 machine. Just to update - this was definitely operator error on my part - and I'm not the only one to miss the "remove your dongle" part of the install. It did de-activate my dongle. Fortunately Marianna was able to send me an .avd file to flash it and get it activated again. Yay.

For some reason MC6 is not seeing my MX02 Mini (and no "switch" as mentioned in this thread) - although W7 does and I have the correct Matrox drivers installed.

Thanks Barkin - you are exactly right on all points. And yes I did email MM before I even posted - but I'm sure she's swamped. I did however read everything I could find 3 times before I started and STILL missed the 'flash dongle first' part - and it did disable my dongle, making it a nice $2500 keychain ornament. And BTW I'm not

So as soon as this happens, I get a call from a client saying "we need to revise that big project you 'finished' yesterday." I am so screwed. Naturally I NEVER upgrade in the middle of a project. Sigh. Marianna? Barkin? Larry? Anyone?

Can't get activation ID from "my account" - says it's been "consumed." Dead in the water here - can't even revert to 5.5 with no dongle. Help... PS can't use it in trial mode either - says trial has expired!
