Are you on 5.5.3.6? Because that is the only qualified release for OSX10.7.5. see version matri: http://avid.force.com/pkb/servlet/fileField?retURL=%2Fpkb%2Farticles%2Fen_US%2FCompatibility%2Fen267087&entityId=ka140000000GvWVAA0&field=Attachment_1__Body__s cheers, bogie

As expected, smaller files have slightly worse performance, but I think they are closer to real life. 16GB file is a whole hour of DNxHD36, whereas most of the time, most of the projects will work with 30-60 seconds clips. thanks again Randy, bogie

Great guide Randy, thanks for this, my only two curiosities are: -why is the reading speed lower then writng? usually it's the opposite, but I'm guessing it could be because of how the AJA system test reports it for the RAID6(so effective write rate is actually lower, but there is a 10-20% overhead for creating the parity - not applicable when

I've got the time to test with the NitrisDX box as well. Things are similar, with the exception that once hung, the Nitris system will require a full shutdown of both CPU and BOB in order to come back to sense and be able to playback anything(again, only in green-green modes, yellow is not good) thx, Bogdan Grigoresco Sr.Engineer, ACSR DS/Unity

I managed to replicate the problem, establish a pattern and come up with a workaround. Hopefully, this will give enough hint to the mighty engineering team in Burlington to fix it. So here it goes: -if project is launched with no BOB attached, system works fine -if project is launched with MojoDX attached in green-green 8/10bit modes, system will not

-MOJO DX - confirmed -Firmware update automatically started at first launch after upgrade. It asked to shut down the CPU. I did and I've shut down the MojoDX too -DX Diagnostic passes both the self and Picture Playback test. Have not tried the loopback tests -reports the following: FPGA=02.1C FW=01.18 CPLD1 Rev=00.11 CPLD2 Rev=0B I don't know
