Hello! Is Quicktime Reference still the best way out of Avid? Say, an intermediate for exporting 'draft' versions. What is your current export workflow? What do you recommend? Hope to hear from you. Thanks!

UPDATE : It's a bad User! I just changed it to another and it all worked normally. Thanks everyone!

Thanks Mondo! I'll try that. ACtually it's two clips now! I just dropped another one in the edit and does the same problem.

Sorry camoscato. Yes, the track is center-panned (mid) but plays only on the right channel. It is ignoring any pan setting I make. Previous clips in the same track acts fine, they follow my pan settings. The track is not locked. Thanks for responding!

HELLO! May I follow up with my case. I have the mixer in 'CLIP' mode. Everything is good, except for this one clip in the timeline. It stays panned to the right no matter what I do (global or manual). I have re-edited the clip, relaunched Avid, rebooted the MacPro. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ah..resurection day! Until this one get's sorted out, my answer is HDV SPLIT! Sorry, but this history of trouble-shooting with firewire capture is just not worth it.

Is this addressed/fixed on the current version of Looks?

Here's a quick example I made: 1. First, you must import the 4x3 source to fit format raster. (import setting/image size) 2. Drop the clip in your edit timeline. 3. Use the Pan&Scan/ Reformat effect. 2. I need to set just the first two boxes. Notice the projected crop/output on the effect preview. Apply. I hope it helps. enjoy!

There's going to be a crop in the picture when you try to properly fit a 4x3 to a wide box (maintaining proportion). You can simply use an effect in Avid and set it properly...i think it's called REFORMAT?

Thanks John. That's sad news. Do you know of any official release of RedGiant about this? Anyone else, please share your thoughts or experiences. Thank you!
