That's too bad. A workaround is to pass that live feed through a deck and capture it's TC signal through RS422.

When we do a live capture in Avid, we need the house timecode. Does the LTC In connection on the back of the AJA IO Express work for Avid users? When I connect the TC to the LTC/Ref In of the AJA, LTC Input is still greyed out in the capture window of Avid. I've tried restarting, etc. I even took a look at Machina Capture Settings. I actually have found this tool to be useful for a couple of reasons. In the past, there have been times when I wanted do an multi-step edit when the client is sitting in the room. Thanks for your continuing responses. My rationale of waiting would be the fact that I have been seeing posts that are blasting the later versions saying they are way too buggy and need to be corrected, the company was once known for it's always dependable product, etc. Perhaps, this is relatively speaking and anything I upgrade to will be better
