Hello All, I'm cutting some RED footage that I've linked via AMA and then transcoded to DNx36. Problem is, it all has a small Frame-Flex indicator on it, and it won't let me create new AutoSynced clips once I've synced it. Is there a way to "commit" the frame-flex so I no longer have an "effect" applied to my clips

Nope. Can't get any 8.x version to work, for some reason. Can't for the life of me figure out what changed between Friday night when I prepped my machine (and confirmed it worked, btw) and the time I arrived in Savannah this morning. I can get 7.0.6 to work, so I'm going to just roll with that, but it's very weird and very annoying.

Ralph, Yes, thanks. It didn't help. I did just install 7.0.6 and it works. None of the 8.x versions have worked. I'm thinking that i might uninstall now and see if re-installing one of the 8.x versions will magically work again. Chris

Hello everyone, I've just driven from Los Angeles to Savanna, Georgia to start a 6 week job. I've brought my Mac Pro (early 2009) with me. It was working perfectly when I left Los Angeles on Saturday morning. Now, of course, when I try to launch Media Composer I get a crash when MCState is initializing. I've unistalled 8.5 and reinstalled

So this is kinda weird, but I have been putting personally recorded sound effects and video clips on Pond5 for a while, and I find it exciting every time I get an email telling me I've sold a clip. If you have sound effects and/or video clips you own and want to try and monetize them, I'd suggest signing up for a free account and putting them
