My advice is to simply jump in and do a project on it; that's how I learned coming from D/Vision Pro and Incite over a decade ago. It's painful at first, but you'll catch on. You know what you want done, you just have to figure out how to do it in Avid; it' not like NLEs in general are a mystery. I agree, Avid is not really like anything

It's proven to be VERY intermittent, and I've never seen it prior to upgrading to 6.0.1.1. Since it happens so rarely, I guess I'm resigned to just living with it, if nobody has a definitive solution. Chris

Hello everybody, I upgraded to 6.0.1.1 yesterday and now I'm noticing that every once in a while, while I'm shuttling around the timeline with the JKL keys, I hit K to stop, and it instead goes into slow scrub mode without stopping.
