There used to be an "Administration Log" on the old Nexis interface and it is very frustrating that they removed it. It could tell you when a workspace was created/deleted/renamed/resized and by who's ipaddress in real time. When the new interface came out all the ipaddresses became 127.0.0.1 which became less helpful but still helpful

Should these work on 2022.7 running Mojave? I know it is not qualified. I installed both 2022.7 and the 32 legacy components but I do not see the classic title tool in the tool list though I may bee looking in the wrong place. Thank you for any advise. Rory

"the upgrade to 2022.4 fixed both OS'" meaning upgrading to 2022.4 fix the issue media composer was having on both Windows and OSx. So the "fix" worked for both operatiing systems, the problem is more "global". "I downgraded the OSx to 2021.12 for compatibility" meaning I downgraded the version of media composer

No they are not on the same OS, some are windows 10 other are OSx Mojave, the upgrade to 2022.4 fixed both OS's though I downgraded the OSx to 2021.12 for compatibility. Neither could read the media correctly when on 2018.12 The media was delivered MXF op atom, so it was just droped into the correct folder structure to scan.
PhraseFind indexes all of your bins upon first launch of a project. Each project is indexed separately, and re-indexing only occurs when new master clips are added to a bin. PhraseFind will index any bin with online media
Does this mean even if I delete the SearchData or PhoneticData folders they will not rebuild

I had one assistant system that was 2020.4. It processed all the media on a new project therefore built all the mdbs. All the editors and producers were 2018.12. They could not read any of the clips and were getting an "Exception: MXF_DIDMapper:: ReadRange - End Sample Index exceeds on -disk Index Entry Count" error. Upgrading the 2018 systems

Hello, I am in the middle of upgrading my facility from 2018.12 to 2020.7. Over the last few years I have had the odd newer version to test out and never experienced any compatibility issues between the versions but over the weekend I had a project and databases built on a 2020.4 version that 2018.12 versions were refusing to read. The error was "Exception

Hello, I am planning on finally making the jump from 2018 to 2022 facility wide and I am wondering on what the most stable version is currently? I have dipped in and out of the newer version and have been relatively happy with 2022.4 but have not used it enough to make a definitive call. I am wondering what other users/engineers experiences have been

This maybe helpful to someone. One workaround I have been using is to find the biggest computer project file that contains the SearchDataDB file, one that has previously been scanned and built. Copy and rename it to the name of the computer that is struggling to open the project. I could potentially take just the DB file rather than the whole folder
