For the record - Windows 11 acts the same as Windows 10 (POST version 1909) when trying to quit out of Media Composer when attached to a Mojo DX (and Im assuming a Nitris DX as well). You get a BSOD. Seems like anyone using the Mojo or Nitris hardware is hard capped at Windows 10 Version 1909. Which also limits the Adobe Creative Cloud upgrades as well

Unless Im misunderstanding what you're trying to do - you should be able to drag the effect to a bin (pull the effect icon from the effect palette) once you've made all the changes that you want and then apply that altered effect to your titles. That way you wont have to click the 'Apply to Title" or change the Premultpiply settings
