  • Mixed FPS Batch Re-Import, need to Upres

My film had to use archival footage at 29.97 in a 23.98 timeline with motion adaptor effect. I imported all P2 media as opposed to AMA link. Now that I want to upres to DNXHD 175, I found I couldn't decompose or batch re-import due to the mixed rate footage. So I mixed down each 29.97 clip to 23.98, and replaced the old clips and adaptors with the

  • Re: Rewrap MXF Op1a as OP-Atom?

Just tried to email them. French company, no email provided, and the web form has a pesky Internal Error. Any other suggestions.... This must be a common problem for anyone working with archival footage. The archive it came from told me this is standard archival codec.

  • Re: Rewrap MXF Op1a as OP-Atom?

Or that's what I'm told/suspect this is. So how to rewrap or unwrap it? I took it on because I know Avid can handle Jpeg2000. But not a Jpeg2000 MXF, apparently...

  • Rewrap MXF Op1a as OP-Atom?

I've been given what was called a Jpeg2000 wrapped as an MXF, and my guess is it's an Op1a instead of the Op-Atom native to Avid. How can I best rewrap this Jpeg2000 (a converted VHS tape) so that Avid will read it? I can't File/Import, I can't AMA, and if I copy it into the Avid MediaFiles I get the error message not Op-Atom. Is it
