I have a sequence where the media has been deleted using media tool as the project was complete. Now I need to revisit it. I have the Camera cards from which the original edit was made. How do i Import or AMA link to the camera cards, so I can then re link the new media to the edited sequence. Cheers Peter

Hi as I said, Ive just upgraded my MC to the newest version. I have a number of keyboard short cuts such as f4 takes me into colour correction and shift f4 out again. Now when i hit these the screen layout is all chaged. I cant remember how to adjust the layouts so its remembered as it was before. Could someone help remind me. Thanks Peter

if i have ongoing projects in My Avid 7.0.2 that Im looking to upgrade to latest version. Is there ANY possibility that the new version wont open the old projects and link to the media. I just dont need the hassle if it becomes a problem and will wait? Peter

Hi all Im about to upgrade from 7.0.2 to 8.4.2 but before i do, is there anyting i really ned to know about that may not work. Alos i notice there is a 8.4.2 patch installer. Well, since I posted this question, there have been 47 responses. People taking differeing stances, financial perspectives and from varying corners of the industry etc etc. I cant say that Im any clearer about what Ill do come end of the year . What I WOULD like to know, is some sort of info / hint on what the next version of AVID is likely to offer
