I'm about to plough the lonely furrow of using this feature again. We are going to be exporting 50P XAVC OP1a masters using Avid MC 2021.x (unless send to playback works at 50P) and will no doubt want to do little inserts again. Resurrecting this thread to remind myself what worked last time... will add to it if it works / doesn't work!

Dunno about your _searchDB issues but have a look at adding the SFX bins as favourite bins - then they'll be the same in every project.
