We have a spot coming in that's been shot on a Red Dragon at 6k resolution. Will a symphony v8.4 be able to successfully transcode these files to 1080p? many thanks

I've downloaded a test .mov from this new Panasonic offering, but it looks like I'm having a codec problem (solid green screen on ama link). I've a dongle blesed for mc 3.0.5. I'd like to upgrade to 5.5+ and bring along the dongle with me (I stil have an adrenaline with useful mileage in it). If I upgrade to v6, will the dongle upgrade be backwards compatible with 5.5? thanks in advance

I don't know if this is related or not, but MC is bombing out (I mean completely) if I try to render any audiosuite plugins by right clicking on the timeline. Open up the audiosuite panel and rendering from there is stable.

The avid store gives you an option to enter your syatem i.d. if you wish to upgrade - they call it an 'eligibility check' or something. According to the store, I don't qualify. Can anybody help?

I have a dongle blessed for mc 3.5 and a pretty sprightly dual quad xw8600, and would like to upgrade to mc5.5. I've been to the avid store to try to upgrade, but have been told the dongle isn'r eligible. Can anyone give me a clue as to my upgrade options here? thanks

Hi all, searched the help and here but not getting very far. Mixing down 4 audio tracks to a single stereo one. The stereo track is greyed out in the audio tool, and does not play back on the timeline. Likewise, the mute/solo buttons next to the stereo track on the timeline are also greyed out. Load the mixdown into the source monitor, and it plays
