However, I also checked the v8.4 Editing Guide (i.e. User Manual) under Favorites Bin and there is no mention of NOT using it in an Interplay environment. Do you mean in the AMA Link process? Because I asked that 6 months ago but got no response. http://community.avid.com/forums/t/136333.aspx Certainly, the AMA Link browses differently from File Import/Export. It is as if the AMA Link bypasses the Operating System altogether. But it would be handy if you could add favourites to that browsing window. Neil

No definitive answer here for you but... Are you always connected to the NAS the same way? SMB vs AFP etc' that affects the path name. And, could it be a permissions issue with the NAS? I have had that trouble before. Does sound to me like an issue between your system and the NAS, rather than an Avid-specific issue.

I've had this (or similar/related) issue too. I've found that Saving, Quitting and Re-opening the Project will show those clips that wouldn't render, as rendered. It's as if, after the render, the Sequence is not properly linking to the rendered file. Quitting & re-opening seems to fix the link. Hope that helps someone... Neil.

Title Tool has Crop built into it. From the Timeline, open the Title in the Effect Editor and you will see the controls Foreground, Scaling, Position and Crop . And if you do need to use 3DWarp on a Title, don't add the Effect over, just open the Title in the Effect Editor and promote it to 3D by clicking the 3D button on the bottom right of that

You can move the CC Effect information into a Color Correction mode, via a several step process, one effect at a time, but not as an 'upgrade all' function.

1. Make sure the output is set to 10bit. (4th icon from the left, on the very bottom of the Timeline window; needs to be green with a 10 on it.) 2. Can you AMA link to them to make sure that it's not an import settings issue? 3. Have you opened one of the TIFFs in PhotoShop or similar, to make sure they are correct? Neil.
