Be mindful of the small differences between Media Composer on Mac and PC. One of the main issues is not having consistent and fault-free titling between the two. Usually because of the different way the two platforms handle fonts. This one is a headache for us, where we do titling on all edit stations and share Projects across the two platforms.

I've had some XDCAM mxf delivery files which were made from Media Composer 8.6.3, have been rejected from the client as they are not Closed GOP. Worth taking a look at the Resolve Manual and the section " Importing Effects When Conforming Edits" to see exactly which effects and parameters can be carried over from Media Composer.

'Media Creation' is a Project setting; have you tried adding it from another Project's Settings? ...which would allow you to delete the faulty one. Or, create a new Project with the same name as your current one, move you Bins/folders into it and carry on.

What version MC do you have? I'm on v 8.6.3 and I can't edit the Marker Timecode, either, so I expect it's a feature on a later version than we each have. My support engineer rolled the system back, from MC 8.6.5 to 8.6.3 and the problem is fixed! I can now check in UHD frame size DNxHR media. Smiley face!
