Can you clarify: is it a new Bin and you added only a SubClip to it or is it a Bin with other elements in it and you are using Bin display or Sift to show only the SubClip(s) ?

We've had RTTI errors on v 8.8.x and found moving the nablet folder out of the AVX folder (with Media Composer closed) works. nablet lives here:c :\Program Files\Avid\AVX2_Plug-ins\AMA\nablet It would be interesting if those with the RTTI error and later MC versions could try that for a day or two and see if it makes a difference.

We finish most everything in progressive projects. To create the 1080i50 XDCAM deliverable, I just change the existing Project's FORMAT from 1080p25 to 1080i50 and do the export. Then switch back to 1080p25 when finished. The exported file always reads as 1080i format and clients are happy!

Yes, "doing everything right" I feel. We have 2 Symphony suites and we're exporting from there. Because I've got a full season to get out, I was trying some other suites; ones that aren't Symphony. Installed everything on other suites; AS-11 Templates and even copied over the AMA Export Templates. Get on a Symphony with one episode

Successfully been exporting all our AS-11 files from several Mac & PC Media Composers with Symphony option (various versions up to 8.8.x) Tried doing some on other Media Composers without Symphony and they all fail (won't start at all.) Am I to assume that writing AS-11 files can only be done from Symphonies?

As you didn't mention it specifically, I have to ask, did you delete the linked file from your Bin and try a new linking process? I've had similar issues to that same process (using linking to check an exported file) and deleting the link and linking anew worked for me.
