Please find a way to support stereo audio in Media Central. Our editors have to mix everything down to mono for producers which takes time and then any locators the producers add are only on the mixdown version and not the sequence the editors are using, which almost negates the feedback loop.

Hi We've just upgraded to Media Composer 8 and seem to have lost the ability to stop Interplay checking in AMA material. This is causing issues as we have producers on Interplay Central that can now search for these clips that all appear "media offline". Is there a way to turn this off? Thanks

Hi, It would be great if there was a way all the clips of a non tape reel (XDCAM/P2) could be grouped together for producers to log as a single file, rather than multiple clips. The markers would then apply to the individual clip much the same way as it works with multigroups in Central where you set markers on a multigroup but they apply to each angles

It would be great to have spanned markers in the logging tool so that producers can mark a full take without having to create markers to denote the end of a take. Also, if the colour tool could change the colour of the files, rather than having to show the "color" column which would say the name of the colour (ie, not very helpful). Thanks
