Since day one with Avid products, if you have a preset in Title Tool and add another font to the system, the preset can no longer remember what font was originally set with it. How hard can this be to fix?
-
If a bin is open on another system 6.0.1 can't open it even in locked mode. With markers, neither enter or return will close the window, you have to click it with the mouse or hit tab like 5 times then return. Stereoscopic is basically unusaable, too many problems to even begin to list.
-
Was told this was fixed in 6.0.1 but apparently not, at least not on our system. How difficult is this Avid?

Well BCC came with our Symphony 6 but after a month all effects said they were a trial version and to continue using them without the watermark BCC8 would have to be purchased. I called Boris and they said yes, the licensing agreement with Avid had run out. I hope whom we bought Symphony from didn't screw up and installed some odd version because

Actually v6 Symphony does not include BCC 8. It is there upon install but only a trial basis. I talked to Boris and they said the agreement with Avid had run out and now people will have to buy the full version.

Well that's how I would get Sapphire out of the Effect Palette, uninstall it or just move the avx plug-in file to a different location to hide it.
-
In ver. 6 I want to remove all the RTAS effects out of the effect pallet because I'll never use them in our situation and with all our other plug-ins they are a pain to have to scroll by? I know with other things like Sapphire it's easy but how do you do it with these?

Duh! Thanks John, I was completely trying to out think the problem when it's a piece of cake. Just put the Spatial Alignment clip on and adjust vergence positive. Okay, dumb question of the week out of the way.

Does anyone know of a simple solution for putting a monoscopic (2D) clip in a stereoscopic show? Sure I could take the clip, make a video mixdown of it, call one left and the other one right in the S3D Channel column, group name them and then make stereoscopioc clip but is there an easier way? I've got 30 or 40 monoscopic shots that I don't

I'm with you Terry and John, the keyframe method blows. Add edit is so much simpler.
