We can see from the chart that it's not qualified yet. The question was "will the video engine break?" The computer-says-no-answer is "refer to the chart". The real world answer is: give it a whirl.

Doesn't sound like anyone's got around to it yet. I suppose if you wanted to test it you could make a temporary partition with a second MacOS installation (assuming this works?) and install both there and see what happens. At least then others can use this thread for future reference...!

Yeah, I also keep getting emails about updates yet the page says it hasn't been updated for weeks. Looking at the chart though I think maybe the different tiers of Media Composer have been merged into one cell...?

A little update on this. I just found this setting under "Video Display", which sounds like it should resolve the issue when unticket. It does hower show LUT effects when not bypassed, but still not FrameFlex adjustments. Sounds like a bug to me?

That's the official workaround, is it? "If you want to see clips the right way around in group mode, don't use group mode"?

I'll create a case tomorrow. I might also try it in the latest 2021 version to see if it's still an issue there.

Tried transcoding to DNxHD 85, same FrameFlex setting (-180 degrees) and the problem persists!

It's XDCAM HD 17.5 Mbits (1080i/50) The FrameFlex was done before the clips were grouped from the start, but yes, have tried recreating and the same thing happens.

I have some GoPros that were mounted upside-down in a vehicle and rotated 180 degrees using FrameFlex in source settings, but when i group them they still play upside-down in MultiCam Split View. Any ideas how to remedy this?
