when I use this option (rare), I've finished the editing in stereo. Then I toggle to mono just for the output.(And normaly I know wich track is what.) But you're right, separate panning would be nice. Arjen

when you use backspace in timeline you get the option to delete the selected track. I think you did that a few times. right mouse button in time, new audio track will do the same as ctrl+u mmm. read your reply to baklap you have to open sourceclip with audio. try to open a audio clip. Are there still no audiop tracks?
