I'm using 2018.12.15 on 10.14.6. Works a treat, no issues. My workflow doesn't allow for upgrades (at the moment). Have been 10.14.6 for a long time, only doing the minor Avid point upgrades, so would have been using 2018.12.2 at some point in the last while. Hope this helps...

Thanks for posting this, I would like to know "why" as well, as it's never made sense to me either. Other editors I know feel the same but just put up with the issues. One editor I know suggested Avid create a "Classic" mode that lets you create a 2018 interface...

I've always been the first to jump on an update, with potential improvements & new features, but this UI redesign seemed like a change for the sake of it, rather than for the better. I'll add my vote to this! I just dont get the Avid "modern" interface. If someone can show me how the 2019/2020/2021 interface can be setup to work as well as the 2018 then I'm all ears (and eyes). I've spoken to other editors about this (as I thought it must have been my issue) and they agree it's not as good and/or fast,
