Is ayone at Avid actually doing something about this? There doesn't seem to be much of a response and it's clearly a fundamental issue since the new avid interface has been implemented. I'm working on a large show with 6-8 editors and every person on the new interface versions will have this problem 3-4 times a week. I literally can't

This is exactly what's happening with me - opening the sequence immediately crashes out of avid withouth any error message. But opening other random sequences first before that one can mean it plays. This is becoming a real problem as I can lose work from the crashes and can't open sequences I'm working on. Never seen it before the new interface

I am encountering problems linking to AMA on CanonXF. I've been able to transcode some of my rushes but the remainder throw up this error message and crashes out of AVID: 'DIDDescriptor: GetAAFProperties: XDCAMHD Unsupported resolution' I don't know what more plug-ins there are for me install. I'm using MC6.. Any takers?!
