Started editing 8mm film, then got jobs in British Film Industry editing 35mm and 16mm film, graduated to videotape editing (hated it!), built a sucessfull central London Post-Production company, Avid arrived - £80,000 for a 25Mhz Mac that crashed a lot (couldn't afford one as had invested in Film and tape), subsequent massive change to the way motion images were edited - company disintegrated. Bought relatively cheap Adobe Premiere system and started working from home, moved out of London to the South Coast, set up documentary production company, bought Avid Xpress 2.00 running W2000 - and, over the years this has been up-graded and supported by 2 other Avids, a Matrox/Premiere system, and a Final Cut Pro set up. Prefer Avid and hoping to continue updating as funds allow. I make Military History Documentary films, and have a huge archive of World War Two footage.
