Can you talk a little bit about what deliverables you created w/ DS and what they were used for?
Absoultly!
Were they used for broadcast, digital projection or film print?
in the past - film Print as the prime... (read more)

 • Re: DS Software & DX Hardware
In theory an AJA would fit. To be honest I'm Not sure what it connects to internally. 2K would be an absolute must for the work it would be doing.
Sylvain's idea of just getting a 4800 sounds even better than the Aja for most things, there is very... (read more)

 • Re: Match Move
Wow! the tracker node works much better. I guess i just assumed the stabalizer was the same, because in smoke/flame all tracking functions are under "stabalizer" Thanks
I think they are, on the first PPG you can select track -or- stablise and they... • Re: DS and today's cameras
I am not talking about Red media here. I am talking about ProRes. A much simpler format to deal with as I understand.
Yea... they both seem about the same by now, i have worked on a ton more RED than ProRez, but i know that will be changing.. no real issues with either... • Re: Okey, let me introduce to you...
Just a restart of the DS application, or a power cycle of the workstation is required to clear the problem?
Just DS.
