In MC it's as simple as checking a box on the time warp effect. In DS I can't seem to figure out how to do strobe motion effects. I didn't think it was possible, but then saw some features listed for the DS online and strobe was listed as one of the timewarp effects, but I can't find any more info anywhere. Is this possible to do this with native DS effects?
If you must use strobe, it is in the timewarp effect.

haha, yeah i know, but it's a special situation.
where in the timewarp effect? i'm looking through the effect parameters, but i don't see it...is it called something different?
In the 'General' tab of the timewarp, select the pulldown menu to 'Hold'.
Strobe is at the bottom.
What Gus? You don't like 80's Music Videos?

Hey Guys,
I'm using MC 2020.12 and I'm not seeing any of these tabs in the Timewarp Motion Effect Editor...
I'm looking for, technically, a Posterize function... I noticed that PP and Dv15+ seem to both have it, so I can't imagine its not available in Avid MC Ultimate...
can anyone point me in the right direction here?
posting after unsuccessfully researching for the last 2 hours online and finding mostly non-applicable MC posts that are dated like this one, but the other software tools seem to have relabeled Strobe - to Posterize ... and offer the funcationality...
Also - best notes on taking 59.97 driving footage into a 23.976 timeline WITHOUT the motion artifacting? I have grabbed a certain clip to play as slow mo, for now, that fixed the issue, since it is no longer (I don't think at least) generating interpolated (blurred) frames in between... but... either way... it'd be nice to have other options...
