    H.264 with AC3, what wrapper?

    Hello all,

My client wants a digital file with H.264 compression and AC3 audio. This is for a feature film to be played out in another country.

Here are the only specs that I got. The master is a D5 23.98. The surround audio stems are on DA-88 and it needs to go to the following specs:

    -          H.264 HD

    -          50 FPS

    -           progressive

What wrapper can make the H.264 file with AC3 audio

I'm not sure those two codecs can go together.  What about the AAC audio codec?  I think AC3 is more for MPEG2...

Anyway, wikipedia says check out liba52 and FFmpeg.  I don't think those encoders can do H.264, however.
