    can't read media

    hi everyone

i have just finished to upgrade avid media composer from 2.8.4 to 3.1.3 (yeah, that's a bit old) and i just can't read my medias. I already undergo this problem before upgrade.

    My specs :

Adrenaline HP XP 8200, XP SP 2, xeon CPU 3,40 ghz, 3.00 GB of RAM, quadro fx 1400

The medias that i want to read were captured on this station in DV 25P 420 mxf

    My project is a 24P, 35mm, 3 perf project.

The error that i get is : "exception Decompstream::SetFrameToRead wait timed out waiting for Fillbuffer on stream 0"

I found a post here on the forum concerning that error but the solution is not there.

    What's happen !?

    Thanks b

oh.. and i get orange under some part of my timeline... (but i shouldn't have to render dv medias!)

What are you using for storage?

Are you sure it's not Red?

It could be that your system is just unable to handle the media playback?  Maybe your drives are failing?

its the slave internal hard drive called "D"

I tried to change disk but it didn't change anything !

yeah you're right, it's more than orange, there is some blue also (only one clip on the timeline)
