Hi there,
I'm sitting here editing a feature film. All tracks are sync locked (except my film mask track). At least once a day I experience that some of my audio on track 3-14 is suddenly 2 frames out of sync from the point in the time line till the end. I have no idea how this happens since the sync locks should keep everything in sync at all times.
Another weird problem I have experienced often too, is at times when i'm doing a simple trim between two joined clips. maybe I want to roll the a side in so it gets shorter. The avid will then leave a blank hole instead of just moving the b side so it is still joined with the a side.
I Have never experienced any of these two problems before and I have been editing avid for the last 10 years.
Have anyone had similar problems.
Im running MC 3.05 with a Mojo on Tiger 10.4.11 2 x 3 Ghz dualcore intel processors. 4 GB Ram
I hope there's help out there, because it's quite annoying (especially the sync thing) in my daily editing workflow.
Best regards

Haven't seen it on the testbed 3.0.5's at school. I wonder if it's some kind of a redraw delay? What happens when you focus on the area?

I'm having these problems as well on a 3.1.2 MC. Windows XP 32bit.
Anyone else out there? I'm also trying to figure out why I ocassionaly can't slip-trim one side of an edit with Sync Lock on.
cheers & thanks.
