Avid Express export of EDL to FCP

    HI there:

I am trying to export an EDL to FCP.  This should be fairly simple... using the EDL manager.  But every time i try it, selecting one of the CMX settings, the list does not seem to be readable in Final Cut Pro.  Does anyone have any suggestions about going from Avid to FCP that they are willing to share?

    Thanks,

    yvette

The only reliable method to move a sequence to/from Avid to FCP is to use Automatic Duck:

If you don't want to buy it I'm sure you could find a production company that will offer it as a service.
